Famille rose porcelain is a kind of overglaze porcelain. First fired in the late Kangxi Period, it gradually matured during the Yongzheng Period, when the decoration of famille rose formed its unique style. By the time of Qianlong Period, the making of famille rose reached its prime time, and until the late Qing Dynasty, it became the mainstream of overglaze porcelain.
