Introduction

It was a short period in Chinese history, but the porcelain made in this period showed its distinct features in terms of design. Take the pot for example. The pots in the Tang Dynasty generally have straight and short spout, or short rhombic spout, and the pots in the Song Dynasty have long, slim and slightly curved spout, while those in the Five Dynasties generally have long and curved spout. In terms of decoration, gold button as an ornament also appeared in the porcelain of the Five Dynasties.
